This is the photo that tells us the brand, model, serial number, capacity and how old the system is. Look for a silver or white metal plate with the brand, model number and serial number printed on it. Hold the camera straight on and close enough to read the small print. If the label is missing or unreadable, skip this - we'll still review the equipment photo.

A photo shows condition and visible details only. It can't confirm a fault, a safety issue, an efficiency rating or the right equipment size - a comfort specialist confirms all of that in your home, and sizing always comes from a Manual J load calculation. No prices come from a photo.
